Why 14?
This
is a question that frequently comes up at Tom's public appearances.
Tom's uncle, Kenneth Jacobs, was an avid football fan, and he also
served as a conceptual contributor in the creation of "Letters
To Brett Favre: A Fan Tribute." Ken passed away prior to the
completion of the book, and Tom has chosen to honor his uncle by
wearing a number 14 "K. Jacobs" jersey at all of his
public appearances.
